📌 Definition
A caption is a short text that explains, describes, or gives more information about a picture, a photo, a poster, or a social media post.
📝 Purpose of a Caption
> To give context to an image or photo
> To attract the reader’s attention
> To express feelings, opinions, or ideas
> To deliver a message or moral
🧩 Types of Captions
1. Descriptive Caption
➤ Gives details about the picture
Example: A beautiful sunset at Kuta Beach, Bali.
2. Motivational Caption
➤ Gives inspiration or encouragement
Example: "Don’t give up. Great things take time."
3. Funny/Humorous Caption
➤ Makes the audience laugh
Example: “I followed my heart… it led me to the fridge.”
4. Exclamatory Caption
➤ Expresses strong feelings or surprise
Example: “Wow! This view is breathtaking!”
✍️ Structure of a Caption
1. Main Sentence: Usually short and to the point.
2. Additional Info (Optional): Gives extra explanation or context.
3. Hashtags (on social media): Used to group related posts.
• Example:
"Climbing Mountains! #Pecintaalam Adventure"
